Limnanthes alba is a class of flowering plant in the meadowfoam family known by the general designation white meadowfoam. It is indigenous to California and Oregon, where it grows in wet grassy environments, such as vernal pools and wet spots in the woodlands. It usually grows in poorly drained soils. It is an annual herb yielding with a stem about 30 centimeters long. The flower is cup-shaped with small white petals 1 to 1.5 centimeters long.
